Orchestra Collaborations

Voices meet instruments

Although The Real Group is an internationally renowned a cappella quintet, they have often collaborated with symphony orchestras, big bands, and solo instrumentalists. Their repertoire ranges from jazz to classical music and also includes well-known pop songs and folk music, with arrangements tailored to create a concert experience that becomes a musical dialogue between the singers and the musicians.

The composition Lionteeth by Anders Edenroth may also be included in a concert program where The Real Group shares stage with a symphony orchestra.

Previous symphony orchestra collaborations: Malmö SO conducted by Beatles producer George Martin, Norrköping SO and Norwegian Radio Orchestra (KORK) conducted by Hans Ek, NDR conducted by Wayne Warshall, WDR conducted by Niklas Willén, Royal Swedish Army Band conducted by Joakim Unander. Other collaborations include Tonkunstler Grafenegg Austria, Karlskoga SO Sweden, Izmir SO Turkey and GLS Vienna Musikverein Austria.
